The Perennial Sages are invaluable perennials for their rich display in the border. They form bushy mounds of grey-green leaves, with spikes of flowers in early summer. They are attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. Plants are reasonably drought tolerant, once established. This variety has wonderful upright habit and dark purple flower stems which really set off the bright violet-blue flowers that bloom for a long period, extended by deadheading. Great for cutting.
