Cacti (cactus) are a very popular houseplant and one of the most sought-after. Who wouldn't want a cute, new prickly friend spicing up any room in their house? These prickly plants come in many different sizes, colours, and varieties making it impossible to just pick only one!
FEATURES: The Opunita cactus, or more commonly called the pear cactus, is a cute and flat leaved cactus with small spikes and barbed bristles. The pads, flowers and fruit of most varieties of this cactus can be eaten after careful cleaning. The Opunita cactus comes in many different varieties with many variations on the sizes of the pads, the type of spikes, and the roundness of the stalks.

LIGHT: High (These cuties originally come from the desert, so they love sun! A south facing window is the ideal area for them).
WATER: Low (Try to keep your cacti in well drained soil and a pot with drainage. Remember, these guys do need some water to stay alive so be sure to check the soil every 10-14 days to see if they need to be watered).
