Majesty palms can be a lovely addition to a patio, especially during the warmer months. Their tall, arching fronds add a tropical feel and bring a sense of greenery and elegance to outdoor spaces. They do best in bright, indirect light, so a partially shaded patio or one with dappled sunlight is ideal.
However, Majesty palms aren't frost-hardy, so they should only be kept outdoors during late spring to early autumn. Once temperatures begin to drop—typically below 10°C—they should be brought indoors to prevent cold damage. When outside, make sure the pot has good drainage, and keep the soil evenly moist, as these palms don't like to dry out completely.
