Lavender is actually a low-growing shrub, native to the Mediterranean region. The fragrant flowers and foliage make it a favourite for herb gardens and in the perennial border. Will also grow beautifully in tubs or containers for the summer season. This strain has grey-green foliage with rich, deep blue flower spikes appearing on short stems. Excellent winter hardiness and heat and humidity tolerance. Prune in early spring, no harder than 4 inches.
