This is one of our absolute favourite perennials! A graceful herbaceous perennial with fine, fern-like foliage and clusters of soft steel-blue star-shaped flowers in late spring to early summer. Its airy texture adds movement and elegance to borders, while the foliage turns a brilliant golden-orange in autumn, extending its seasonal interest. Native to North America, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Low-maintenance and deer-resistant, it’s ideal for naturalistic planting schemes, wildflower gardens, or mixed borders.
